Q: I am on a quest to find large whole wheat pasta shells (the kind that are ideal for stuffing with ricotta and spinach goodness). I live in a relatively small town and unfortunately have had zero luck finding them online as well. The smaller shells are readily available, but I have had no luck with the large shells.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Editor: We haven't had much luck finding whole wheat jumbo shells either. As whole grain pasta catches on, hopefully producers will start to expand their offerings to include shapes like this!
In the meantime, what about rolling sheets of whole grain lasagna noodles around your tasty filling of choice?
Has anyone found a good source for large "jumbo-sized" whole wheat pasta shells?

What about using lasagna instead, and just rolling it up?

They're tough to find - you may want to expand your online search to include the actual name of the jumbo shell shape: "conchiglioni" (or conchiglie - which is smaller), but I've also seen them labeled as such when they're any size shell. If you're desperate, you may be able to source them from overseas. Good luck! Whole wheat pasta is tasty, but if a company is going to make a large specialty shape like that, it probably will be a standard pasta.
