I'm looking for a pair of good shoes for use while I work in the kitchen. I have hard floors and as I get older, several hours straight of working taxes my back.
Have you posted information on those types of shoes I sees cooks wearing — sort of look like Crocs, or any other great shoes for this need. Please let me know and thank you.

Bill, many of us here at The Kitchn are huge fans of Danskos - beloved also by nurses, doctors, and other people who are on their feet all day. My own personal Danskos just got retired to muddy garden shoes (they are getting pretty beat up) and I am about to buy another pair for running around town and for cooking. They are wonderfully supportive and I have really noticed a difference in wearing them. They are expensive, but worth it.
