The first time we used it, we were trying to scrape up the last of the mayo from the bottom of the jar. Not only did this spatula clean out the corners, but it was long enough that our fingers stayed clear of the gooey rim. Starting right then and there, the Batterfinger earned its place in our kitchen.
Its rounded and slightly tapered design makes the Batterfinger handy for cleaning out the hard to reach crannies in pretty much any jar, tupperware container, or mixing bowl. We even use it for cleaning off the beaters from our mixer and the blade on our food processor.
It's made from a sturdy rubber that gives slightly but without being flimsy. If you have children, this utensil is the perfect size for small hands and would be useful if your kiddo doesn't quite have the coordination yet to use a full-sized spatula.
Ironically, the only thing we don't use this spatula for is for is swiping a taste of what we're cooking! Do you have one of these spatulas and do think it's as useful as we do?
