Good Product: Teabag Storage Caddy

When it comes to storage in the kitchen, we're all about reusing and recycling. We often use old jam jars and empty food containers to store cupboard essentials. But every now and then a customized solution really hits the spot. Take a look at our new favorite storage container.

One of my vices is tea collection. There are stacks of boxes, tins, and bags in my tea cupboard; it gets a little out of control in the mid-winter. I resolve to only replace teas when I use them up; this resolve invariably fails.

When I moved into this new kitchen I decided to get rid of all the unsightly boxes - each with perhaps two teabags knocking around inside. Enter this tea caddy from the Container Store. It fits perfectly on my lazy Susan cupboard shelf, and looks neat as a pin. It holds all the leftover tea bags - the boxes went in the recycling.

It's a simple piece of kitchen organization, but it made me very happy. Sometimes a purchase like this makes all the difference.

A Ferraro Rocher box fits one row of tea packets perfectly, looks exactly the same, and is free with the purchase of some candy.

I love this container. I'm finding that I drink a wider variety of tea, now that i have ready access to all my tea flavors.

i keep all my loose teabags in a basket shaped like a teapot that i picked up at a local store a few years ago (it was very cheap). the upside is that the basket is crazy cute; the downside is that it can be hard to find a specific type of tea when they're all jumbled together.
