About this time last year, I ordered a copy of The Urban Homestead by Los Angeles residents Kelly Coyne and Erik Knutzen. It would make total sense for me as a gardener to keep a few bees but I just don't want to have that many buzzing, stinging critters in my backyard air!
I love that the Royal York hotel in Toronto has a roof top bee hive but I think I'll keep buying my honey at the grocery store or farmer's market.
