Therefore the chefs that create them have a claim as to how their work — and images of their work — are shared and distributed.
Luckily, there haven't been any suits brought against snap-happy diners quite yet. After all, social media is a great, free source of advertising for most restaurants. But we imagine we'll be hearing about a case soon enough.
