Oooh - we like these new cast iron pans from Finnish designer Mikko Laakkonen. They have raised leafy patterns that print your pancakes.
They can also be a reminder to your meat-eating friends that this is your separate veggie-only pan. We just really like the shapes and sizes; they come in basic frying pans and also smaller pans to make blini. (via NOTCOT)

As an omnivore living with a vegetarian, I absolutely love this idea. I also like the idea of making pancakes with the design...hope these come out soon.
Cute, but I wonder how evenly the heat is distributed...
My worry is when on rare occasions things stick to the pan, this could be just horrible to get an egg or a pancake off. Most of the time it'd be great, but I think it'd be difficult on occasion, but as a veg, I love the idea of my own marked pan, it was always difficult to keep my pan free and clear of meat.
why are they so squarey?
