TW Salt Mill by Wil...

The Baked Egg Rolls look very inviting. I like my yolks runny though. Do you think by baking them for less time that can be achieved?
I make eggs in a nest quite often (my mom called them pop-eye eggs and my sis had thought it had something to do with the sailor man but couldn't figure out why). This would be a wonderful variation without all of the butter.
Hey merilynch, yes you can adjust the time of cooking and then the egg will be runny. I did mine like that because I like it more solid but it will certainly be extra delicious as well if you decrease the time of baking. The butter is added to protect the egg from burning on the top but if you add creme fraiche this already should do the job nicely so you can also skip the butter. Bon apetit :)
