Q: My family has a lot of fruit trees and supplies us with an abundance of apples. This year I have the good problem of a large quantity of apples that won't last at room temperature. They're too soft to eat without cooking them, and we're kind of tired at this point of applesauce, apple butter, and baked apples.
Do you have any other ideas for cooking large quantities of them? I have a lot of good apple dessert recipes, but most don't actually use more than a couple at a time.
