Q: We go through a fair amount of cheese at our house, and recently we started freezing the rinds. I know that we can simmer these in tomato sauce to give a nice flavor, and we've done that, but the problem is we go through WAY more cheese than we make homemade tomato sauce.
So at this point we have a gallon-sized freezer bag filled with probably 12 rinds, and we'd really like to clear it out. I'm looking for some fresh ideas for frozen cheese rinds, mostly Parmesan rinds, some with a bit of good cheese left on them, some pretty much stripped clean. Bonus points if it uses a lot and is more creative than just simmering it in a pasta sauce!
