It's February, people, which means winter is going to be sticking around for a couple more months. How does that make you feel? Not so great? Me too. If your next tropical vacation isn't in the near future, I have a smoothie that can help you out. You only need five ingredients to make it happen.
If you're feeling in extra need of a vacation this winter, fill your bathtub up with some warm water and dip your toes in as you sip on this smoothie. It's almost like you're at the beach. Almost.
1/4 cup pineapple chunks
1/4 cup mango chunks
1-inch nub of peeled ginger, chopped
1/2 cup coconut water
Freeze the pineapple, mango, banana, and ginger on a baking sheet for 1 hour (to avoid clumping and hurting your blender), and then put ingredients in a container or bag until ready to make your smoothie.
Dump the frozen pineapple, mango, banana, and ginger into your blender, along with the coconut water. Blend until desired consistency.
