In a somewhat surreal showing of food politics-meets-international politics, the live tweeting of Brooklyn's Park Slope Food Co-Op this past Tuesday resulted in an "epic" rundown, as The Awl put it, of bizarre one liners, offering a taste of the high-spirited (and some would say high-minded) views of its passionate, and politically-motivated, members.
A few notes: "Fascist food" makes multiple appearances, checkout shifts are called "the firing line," and Trader Joe's gets booed.

Agreed. I don't know what bloggers issues are with a volunteer-to-join Food Co-op? It's very juvenile.
Yeah... I'm a member of the Park Slope Food Coop and this just wasn't that funny or interesting. Ha ha... things taken out of context sound stupid! I mean, if you were to live blog most people's office meetings, they would sound idiotic as well. I don't take offense but this is just silly, really.
