Here's an interesting cookware prototype that Italian cookware manufacturer Bialetti displayed at Housewares: A stacking all-in-one cookware set with folding handles. Is this the ideal set of cookware for a tiny, tiny kitchen?
These five colorful pieces include a pasta pot, a colander, a lid, a sauté pan and a frying pan. All the basics for day-to-day cooking, especially when you consider that the pasta pot can double as a mixing bowl.
The handles on the frying pan and the sauté pan fold up tightly so that the whole stack can slide into a narrow cupboard and be stored in a more compact space.
What do you think? Is this the perfect set for a small kitchen? The set is just a prototype right now, but it was prominently displayed at Housewares, and we hope that they received a lot of interest in it. It may show up soon in stores.

looks like something I'd definitely consider buying since I have limited storage space in my apartment, but they'd have to be made of some durable metal and have some weight to them for me to really be enticed
Looks promising but not so much practical. When one or two in the set is needed, go on taking out whole assembly and wonder where to keep the rest. Certainly not for everyday use. Not even good for travel. Kitchen items with fancy accessories like folding handles are good only for those who cook rarely. I am sure, its a added mess.
Great for the boat or RV crowd.
this would be great if the pieces were over safe as well
I want Floating Cookware, like that seen in the picture!
I think this would only really be practical if you could take one piece out without disassembling the entire thing.
I would love to have this in my kitchen. Now all I need are interlocking cutting boards and length-adjustable knives. the future is now!
One more thing to break. Reminds me of the first gen flip phones.
Where have these been all my life? Trying to fit my pots and pans into the drawer under my oven is like doing one of those 3-D puzzles with weird-shaped pieces that have to fit together in a tight block. I know I had them all in there at one time. Why won't they fit now?
I live on the upper west side of NYC and need this type of product. The studio I am currently living in doesn't have tons of space and this simply perfect
