We're confident in our abilities to pack a delicious picnic basket, but it doesn't hurt to have some inspiration once in awhile. We flipped through hundreds of picnic photos and picked 10 favorites that we'd like to pull up a seat at. Which one would you want to be invited to?
Sometimes at a picnic we want a light serving of things and others we want to eat our weight in a tasty sandwiches. So the pictures above represent both sides of our eating outdoors traditions! Which one looks the best to you? Click through to Flickr Pages (listed below) to see what's for lunch (or breakfast) as many of them have notes!

Red-and-Pink-Stripe...

Oooh! That muffaletta looks great... although I'm a huge fan of the french cheese/charcuterie/baguette picnic as well. Gotta love anything out of a cooler...
Mimi's African picnic is out of this world! (first pic!) so gorgeous and unusual! An inspiration!
Also like the charcuterie.
p.s. have to add that here in France, you often see French families pulled over at rest stops, often with their own folding table and chairs, enjoying a proper lunch while they travel. They take it very, very seriously. I am always curious about what they are eating, but have never had the courage to snoop. Should get a telephoto lens...
