Ice cream for dinner, anyone? We spotted this photo of dessert gyoza, or potstickers, on Flickr and were instantly charmed.
To make this sweet treat, Lenore filled (eggless) cookie dough dumplings with ice cream, froze them, and served them with chocolate dipping sauce. We're thinking that a version with green tea ice cream could be pretty good, too.

Yay! Evil Mad Scientists do such cool things (Check out their 3D printer that uses sugar as the medium!) and this is no exception. What a fun thing to serve for dessert.
Also delicious with Nutella as a filling for sweet potstickers.
That reminds me of some cookie dough eggrolls I saw in the Chicago Tribune many years ago. Some place was actually selling cookie dough, wrapped up in egg roll wrappers and fried, and serving it with ganache dipping sauce.

A Bread A Day
I dunno. I think the flavor of green tea ice cream can easily get overwhelmed if you start adding stuff to it. For me, green tea ice cream is best eaten straight (or possibly during a game of wasabi-green tea ice cream roulette with your friends as long as you don't grab the bite of wasabi).
If you want to try some "Asian" flavored ice cream for this, red bean ice cream would probably be the way to go.
