Floral Drink Dispen...

These are so lovely. I'm currently living in my parents' house -- we live in a cookie cutter housing development, so the backsplash is pretty boring (read: granite that matches the countertops), kind of like the rest of the house's design elements! Someday I will have a snazzy backsplash of my own. I love the look of little, multicolored tiles.

OH I love the counters in the first photo!
My son just had a new Formica counter installed in his apartment and they ran it up the wall to the cupboards as a backsplash. It's too much fake marble to his liking. Any apartment-friendly solutions to camouflage the backsplash, folks?
I just designed my own backsplash a few months ago at www.susanjablonmosaics.com, using 1x3 inch subway tiles in a variety of colors (white, dark grey, orange, watermelon, and red). It was very fun to do, but hard to choose the colors!
