Our highly anticipated farmer's market here in Bristol, Vermont, just opened last week. It's so wonderful to have the first local greens, peas, radishes and strawberries of the year... we were nibbling on the snap peas for the whole walk home. We also got Vermont Ayr cheese from heritage Ayrshire cows, organic hand-shelled black beans, and blueberry honey.
