Floral Drink Dispen...

Yesterday we installed the deep freeze and spare fridge in the garage. Today I am looking at all our food and purging the old. Weirdest find so far is half a bulb of desiccated celery, sadly shriveled in the back corner of the fridge.
My post on the week #1 assignment is up a bit late, but I'm pleased with the progress. The fridge/freezer were definitely my problem areas.

Thanks!
I have been super busy with work and school and haven't had time to attack my cure tasks...until I thought, on a study break this afternoon, I'd quickly handle the pantry (we have just a small one).
All my plans for further studying today are now on hold thanks to an infestation of flour bugs. Boo! I thought my boyfriend had tackled this problem several weeks ago, but alas, it wasn't enough. This time I Googled it (he's out of town this weekend, too and can't help!) and learned what I feared - everything must come out, everything must be cleaned, and most everything must be tossed (in the flour/cereal category).
I suppose it could be worse, but this just wasn't in the plan for today. I need to focus on school, but I can't do that knowing that little bugs are crawling through my pantry. Obviously.
Sigh.
@STLcolleen: How did it go with the bug situation? I once had them too and with me being on a rather tight budget (am still a student) it really frustrated me, because I had some good stuff that ended up in the trash.
I've run out on steam a bit, I have to admit. Anyone else in that boat too?
@ninakk Well, so far so good...but I've yet to restock. Although I've decided that no flours will be going back in unless they're thrown in the freezer for a day or two first, then stored in glass or ceramic containers. Thanks for asking :) I'm feeling ok about restocking - I had some stuff I didn't really use and it's the baking season now anyway, so starting fresh is alright.
I felt like I was running out of steam too, so last night I did a timer for 20 minutes and got a lot more done than I thought I would. Sort of like the 20/20 home cure on AT.
I was surprised to be featured in this week's challenge, but it definitely sparked stronger resolution to clean up and out my storage shelves. http://www.flickr.com/photos/christyna/5118421550/in/set-72157625066530337/
Much better! Don't you think?
I purged! Kitchen Cure #2 done! http://growandresist.wordpress.com/2010/10/29/kitchen-cure-gadget-ing-around/
