We'll pull over to visit a roadside farm stand any time of year, so we've put together a list of resources to help you find roadside stands, pumpkin patches, and pick-your-own farms in all 50 states. Let us know if you have a particular favorite in your part of the world!
From one-man operations to amusement park-like destinations, roadside farm stands can be such fun places to find your perfect Halloween pumpkin, assemble a lovely autumn centerpiece, get a glimpse of where your fruits and vegetables are grown, and perhaps even pick some yourself. Some also have pumpkin patches and corn mazes to amuse both young and old.
Check out these links to find one near you ... and let us know if there are any other good resources we missed!

no listing for Mississippi? Alas!
My family went to Pecks in Spring Green every year to get pumpkins and ride the hay rides. Thanks for the memories!
No District of Columbia? Everyone forgets us! Though I suppose there are no real farms, farm tands or PYOs in the city. My favorite pick your own around here is Larriland Farm (pickyourown.com - I was just there today!) and Butler's Orchard.
In NYC - go to Wilklow Orchards - they are the best! http://www.wilkloworchards.com/
@forkbytes Whoops, there was a little problem with the coding. Fixed!
I had to click on this link because it had WYOMING and I was super curious what was dug up, mostly because our growing season is around 90 days. I was amused that there wasn't anything listed other than checking the 'general resources.' High plains living...
Aarons and Mack Aarons orchards in Elijay, Ga. Good prices and good variety. Much more than apples, as well. We went up there this past weekend and ransacked the apple harvest. The Winesaps are VERY good this year!
Hello from California! Thanks for including our online directory to California Agritourism operations, www.calagtour.org, on your list.We hope you all have fun out there on California farms and ranches. - Penny
This is a great resource to have. Thanks!
In Chadds Ford, PA- visit SIW vegetable stand. The best corn and tomatoes picked daily! Plus lots of other homegrown goodies...www.siw-vegetables.blogspot.com
maryland's best is a good site, but i always use

you can search for specific products or activities on there as well. As for farm stand, my boys and I love Forrest Hall Farm. The peaches just came in and are perfect. Then in October we hit the petting zoo, corn maze and tractor ride before picking out our apples and pumpkins. We have been going there for 6 years and love it.
Neither of the Georgia links work.
Wisconsin link is also broken.
