Wow, talk about some holiday nostalgia. My mother has the 3rd and 5th ones in a big container. Honestly, they were pretty terrible to use because the dough would get stuck up in them since they're shallow.
I grew up making cookies with the ones pictured in #3 and my Mom is still using them. Brought back lots of great memories.
Those would be so cool to have! Can you imagine how many hundreds of cookies those cookie cutters may have created? Wow.
I'm lucky to have scavenged the family cookie cutters from Mom when she was clearing out the kitchen --- including the handmade cookie cutters that my great-uncle used to make every year as our Christmas gift. I don't have all of them, but enough to trigger a nostalgia fit!
Does anyone have suggestions for getting cookies out of that sort of cookie cutter? Flour? Toothpicks?
I received the twisting robot cookie cutter</a href> last year and the dough always gets stuck!

cityliving,
we had some growing up and would light coat the top of the dough in powdered sugar before stamping it. The cookies come free and dont toughen up.
