It's almost high pie season, so it's time for my annual shout-out to my favorite pie dish of all time. There's plenty of stoneware on the market, but Emile Henry's is tangibly higher quality. I've taken a completely frozen pie out of the freezer and put in the oven with no fear of cracking. And the ruffled edge makes a pretty crust easier (and also, surprisingly, easier to slice!).
