When Elizabeth and David bought their 1948 Los Angeles home, it had never been remodeled. So, they set to work gutting the house, which included opening up the kitchen to the living room and adding two sets of 6' wide French doors, which open to the back yard. They now say "the kitchen really is the heart of this home - it's bright, happy and perfect for entertaining." Bonus: the O'Keefe and Merritt stove—clearly a focal point— was a gift from their realtor.

Floral Drink Dispen...

I like this, but I'm wondering about the way the tiles aren't extended behind the bottom shelf to the left of the ventilator. Same with the way the tiles are placed on that small wall to the right of the cabinets. It makes it feel like the tiles are floating around the things that are on the wall, rather than being one unit that's behind everything else. Wish I could see these pictures bigger, but it looks like there are some small tiles cut directly under the cabinet but then those tiles don't extended to the right of it.
Lovely kitchen but was wondering about the tiles too.
Too weird. In such a small area, I'd carry the tiles to
the ceiling. But hey, if they like, nothing else matters:)
It looks so fresh & inviting...I'd never want to leave!
I love this kitchen! It's beautiful yet inviting. Well done!
Gorgeous, I love this kitchen. And, where can I find a realtor like that??
