Happy Friday! Our discussion on choosing the fastest checkout line reminded us of this more humorous take on "queue strategy." Get your weekend started with a laugh from one of our favorite comedians, Eddie Izzard. (P.S. Go ahead - this one's SFW!)
Eddie really gets everything that runs through our heads in the thirty seconds before we pick a line - assessing the relative speed of people with hand-baskets verses carts, the opening of the new lane, how the people ahead of you are paying... And then, of course, the indignity of someone reaching the cashier before you in the line you didn't choose.
He hits the nail on the head, doesn't he?!

When i first came to this country i asked someone if he was in the "Queue", he did not understand me. Then i realized after repeating queue a million times that it probably wasn't my accent but that the word queue is not an American English term.
HAHAHA oh man, Eddie always gets it right on the nail! :D
I love, love, love Eddie. Nice work!
I got to see him in Chicago on his last tour, fantastic man!
Missmay: yes, queue is a grocery term that hasn't gotten over here, it's line or lane at best ;)
I <3 Eddie. Brilliant every time.
I'm always happy that Eddie's bits are so spot on expecially considering this clip is at least 12 or more years old. If you think this is funny, try watching Dressed to Kill again - my ribs always hurt from laughing too hard afterward!
Eddie's a national treasure, no matter which side of the pond you're from!
I love this man! Genius!!!
