This reminds me of a yellow enamel coffee pot I had years ago, differently shaped than this. It made perked coffee and I think it had a clear knob on the top where you could see the coffee perking. It makes me nostalgic to think of it, since it's connected to a certain time in my life, very Proustian. I remember making coffee in the am and then having iced irish coffee in the pm with the leftover am coffee.
Can I ask a stupid question, please? I've never known how you make coffee in these pots. Is the water boiled in them with the coffee? Do they have a filter in them? I'm clueless on this one!
