Ever wish you could search your shelves of cookbooks... just like you can search the internet? Enter Eat Your Books, a search engine for your cookbooks. We told you about Eat Your Books several years ago, when they first popped on the scene, and since then they've only gotten better and better. Read on for more about this smart service...

To quote from my original review: "They do not reproduce the actual recipes or text on the site, but they have created an enormous library of metadata about these cookbooks. You can search, for instance, for chicken recipes and they will show the titles of cookbooks and the names of recipes in those cookbooks that include chicken. Click on a recipe and you'll see a full ingredient list (which you can use to create a shopping list)." And you can even do this from your desk at work, without taking down book after book to find that Chicken Marsala recipe that was in that book - no wait, was it this one? A really great service, especially for those of us with tons of cookbooks.
