Straw Mat from The ...

Oh, this is great stuff! I love their bedding, so feel like this is a great progression!
So cute! When will it be in stores?
The Target press releases says available in February
I'm just worried these styles are already on their way out. I guess, however, that means they are just coming in for many Target customers (don't hate, I love Target).
I agree with Economush. As much as I love me some Tarjay, I'm thinking that their consumers tend to be behind the curve a bit when it comes to design. As such, they'll probably love the Dwell stuff.
The bigger issue that I have with Dwell - well, besides its items mediocre quality - is that it's all made to be disposable. These are not styles one is going to want to live with for years. Which, I guess, is cool if you're buying things from their baby line, and you're only planning on having one child so you look at the things daily for a year or so and then toss it in the dumpster.
But, for the furniture, table-wear, pillows, etc. I think it is unfortunate to buy all these poorly-constructed, imported items only to dispose of it in 6 months time. Wouldn't you prefer to either buy vintage or something that has a chance of someday becoming vintage than this not-really-trendy-but-pretending-to-be nonsense? If you buy from Dwell, you know that you're buying into planned obselence... and if you buy Dwell from Target, sadly, the styles are already obsolete.
