Happy Valentine's Day from all of us here at The Kitchn! We hope that you have plans for a cozy day and delicious evening - whether you're alone, with friends, or with a loved one. Some of our favorite Valentine's Days have been spent alone, taking the excuse to pamper ourselves with a good bottle of wine, a favorite book, and something good to eat.
Here's Piri with another entry in our Dreamy Meal for Valentine's contest. She's cooking up a little original temptation. What kind of menu did this photo inspire? Read on to see...
Why does this photo inspire you? Piri says...
Adam and Eve... the very first lovers. True love is being able to share every part of yourself with your beloved, even the parts you may be ashamed of. Everyone knows Eve's lapse of judgement sealed their fate, but I like to think of her as a devoted lover who would share everything with her with her beau, including her sins.
I've planned this apple centered meal as a way to tempt my love. They say the fastest way to a man's heart is through his stomach. I've spiced his meal with a touch of original sin!
Piri's Original Temptation
• Cider Cheese Fondue
• Brined Pork Chops with Apples
• Apple, Goat Cheese, And Honey Tartlets
Good luck Piri!
