Q: We have a new oven which has steam-assisted cooking. I would love some recipes using this oven setting. We tried it out on a beautiful grass-fed sirloin roast, only to have the roast turn out very chewy. It cooks some vegetables beautifully, while rendering others inedible. And sausages turn out kind of spongy in texture.
I am hoping to find out whether any of your readers have had success cooking with steam. Any tips or recipes would be appreciated!
