My small kitchen is full enough during the holidays without a hint of decorating. While I love to put up a tree in the living room, hang a wreath on the front door, and lay some extra cozy blankets on the bed, the kitchen just doesn't get a lot of holiday decor love from me:
When I spotted this photograph from Country Living, the garland in the kitchen at first seemed odd. However, it's actually on the dining side of the kitchen and appears to be near a designated area for festivities (alongside gifts and flowers). But this image did make me wonder how many folks do decorate their kitchens for the holidays. Do you? If so, please tell us about how you do so in the comments below!

Red-and-Pink-Stripe...

Yes! My kitchen is all white. I hang glass icicles from all the cabinet door handles, and put twinkling lights in the skylight.
Having always lived in pretty small rented places, I never have decorated my kitchen. Maybe once I own something. But at least from my current place, I can see my pink Christmas tree in the living room from the kitchen pass-through. :)
I have a garland made of circular cut-outs from old Christmas cards, which I hang around the dining alcove in my kitchen. I don't really decorate it otherwise, as it's pretty small and has very limited counter space.
Yup. The coating of flour on every surface gets much, much thicker. Looks like snow!
What a lovely kitchen! I usually prefer more of a modern or retro style (obviously, I'm on AT), but this picture is so nice!
What a fabulous idea! Decorating the kitchen never occurred to me. I think I might need to make some paper pennants or garlands to hang. Or maybe just a vase of Christmas greens trimmed from the backyard on the windowsill over the sink. :)
