Church Pews in the Dining Room

We're not recommending bringing your dinner to church. But, look what happens when you do the reverse: bring the pew to dinner!

A take on the bench at the dining table, church pews immediately impart a feeling of age and architectural weight. And the right pew, pulled up to a big dining room table, can act as a solid bench or banquette.

We come across old pews all the time in antique shops and estate sales, so if you like this look, keep your eyes peeled and it could be a reality in your own home in the near future!

My dad has one in our party barn (glorified man cave). It was somewhere between free and $200, not sure, but I do know it was going to be part of a Burning Man project that didn't end up working out. The person they got it from was going to use it for an art car I mean, not my parents.
