Design Friday: Tetras Trivets

Chicken feet? No - trivets for your hot pot. The Tetras Trivet has six little pieces like silicone dice that you can throw down on the table and no matter which way they fall you've got a trivet for your pot. They are awfully cute - like something out of a Wallace and Gromit movie - but we wonder how well they actually work. Anyone played with these?

they're cute , but cost a lot more than a tile or a cloth potholder.

They are more expensive than a tile or cloth potholder, but they are keeping a hot pan father from your table (and more importantly it's finish....

I immediately thought Ardman Animation's "Chicken Run", too! So cute.
