Q: I have a ton of adorable cookie cutters that I'd like to use, but I feel like all of the cookie recipes I have for shaped cookies are either sugar, shortbread or gingerbread.
Do you know of some alternative cookie flavors that I could use for my burgeoning cutter collection?

Editor: Hilary, we are big fans of a Hershey's recipe for cut-out chocolate cookies (pictured above, in ice cream sandwich prep). Here's the recipe:
• Cut Out Chocolate Cookies at Hershey's
We also just noticed these quinoa cookies at 101 Cookbooks:

And remember that you can always add lemon zest, caramel flavoring, or other mix-ins to sugar cookies to mix up the tastes a bit.
Readers, other suggestions for Hilary?
