How do you make conversions in the kitchen? Cups to ounces, grams to pounds? Why not put it on your apron, just where you can see it?
We spotted this hilarious apron at Baking Bites, where Nicole blogged it this morning. We just had to share. The idea is simple: Print lists of basic conversions on an apron, but print them upside-down so a cook just has to look down for reference.
The apron was designed by SUCK UK; you can see a little more about the conversions there.
What do you think? Is this a good idea, or a little impractical? Is your apron generally too covered in flour to be read legibly?

i MUST get this - for me and my sister!
up here in Canada, we buy everything in metric and our favourite cookbooks and magazines (mmmm.... La Cucina Italiana) are imperial.
this will be very helpful in the kitchen!
Have these people been watching me cook? That's creepy! I need this yesterday.
Why didn't I think of that!? So simple, and so brilliant! I could see that apron becoming a staple in my kitchen.
The one thing Alton Brown would not approve of is the stuffing side. He did a whole turkey episode and how stuffing the turkey is what will potentially make you sick. Somehow insulates the turkey and you can have raw meat in there.
this is one of the smartest designs i've ever seen.
this is so brilliant. i would use it all the time!
I must be the only one who owns measuring cups that list ounces as long as cups on them.
better than looking it up online everytime i bake.. i am horrible with conversions..
