My measuring spoons are in sad shape — old plastic spoons with markings rubbed off — that sort of thing. My husband bought me this set of measuring spoons for Christmas, and they're delightful. Sturdy, narrow enough to fit in bottles, and with a curved handle that is perfect for prying open lids of spice tins.
Set includes 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1 teaspoon and 1 tablespoon. Another set is available that includes pinch, 1/8, 2/3, 1-1/2, and 2 teaspoon spoons.

I bought the full set of measuring cups (1/4, 1/3, 1/2, & 1 cup) and spoons for my mother-in-law for Christmas. The measuring cups are also oval shaped. She loves them because they are sturdy, and the oval shape makes measuring out of jars and spice containers much easier. I am looking to buy myself a set soon.
I HATE my stainless steel measuring spoons. They scrape against each other and make a terrible metallic sound. I have to store them all on individual hooks instead of the provided ring to prevent inadvertent scraping (and teeth grinding). As soon as I can find an attractive set that isn't metal, I'm replacing them.
I got these for my wife a couple of years ago because they were highly rated by Cooks Illustrated. We haven't been disappointed. The teaspoon has even survived a few rounds in the garbage disposal with only minor nicks and scratches.
