From the portfolio of interior designer Tom Scheerer, we love these beach house kitchen backsplashes inspired by traditional Cuban cement tiles:
All four of these kitchens are otherwise pretty straightforward when it comes to materials, with predominantly white finishes and a few natural stones and woods. These highly patterned tile backsplashes are set off so well in such settings. The blue patten in the first image is gorgeous, but it is the gold in the later images that just blew me away.
