I'm not quite sure what's happening to me but it seems that some how color is slowly but surely making an appearance in my home (gasp!). Maybe it was my recent trip to the Rose Bowl Flea Market that got me loving color again — who knows, but I love it!
An easy way to infuse color into the kitchen is through the very tools you use to whip up delicious meals. Whisking is one of my favorite things to do (and one of my favorite tools to look at) and obviously this colorful Kitchen Magic Spiral Whisk from Anthropologie is simply amazing!

I recently saw these nesting bowls with measuring cups and thought they were fun. Also this knife set with clear block (similar to above). Or just the knives. Purrrrdy.

Another great colorful tool is the Tovolo Better Batter tool. I bought mine at Sur La Table and love it!
My most recent kitchen purchases were a lemon/lime juicer (the handled squeezing variety) and two spatulas - all three of them were the bright orange Michael Graves collection models from Target

If you love red, try the Ici silicone tools at Williams Sonoma. The egg turner is the ONLY egg turner I've ever come in contact with that always releases the fried egg onto the plate without a single shake! Plus, I love the sleek stainless handles. A pet peeve of mine is kitchen tools with big, bulky handles that take up precious drawer space or container space by your range. You will love them!
