From Bryce: We absolutely love our kitchen. It has been such a conversation piece throughout the whole renovation process and now when we cook, everything feels so "easy" and manageable. In our old kitchen, it was somewhat stressful, with the cramped space, poor lighting, lack of counterspace. It just wasn't all that inviting. Now we smile upon entering the kitchen and it motivates me to cook and bake--and best of all, we want to keep it clean! Having the herbs above the sink was such a fun last minute idea when we felt like the kitchen just wasn't complete. Having them there not only brings a fresh scent and sight to the room, but it encourages us to cook with fresh ingredients--and it makes cleanup so easy! The apron I have hanging by the window is from my childhood that my mom made for me when I would take cooking classes. I wanted to keep it with me in our new kitchen because it reminds me of the love that goes into cooking and why I do it. I'd like to say a personal thank you to my husband for all of the early mornings and late nights to build me my "dream kitchen," and to the friends and family who helped along the way!! We are so thankful to have been able to make this kitchen a reality and we can't thank the readers enough for voting for us. Thank you!!
