Are you a soda drinker? If not, Coca-Cola and Pepsi Co. are trying their best to turn you into one. Both companies have recently announced new products to attempt to woo consumers who currently avoid soda.
Coca-Cola is attempting to be more eco-friendly and has announced plans for a plastic bottle made entirely out of plant materials. The bottles are made from sugarcane waste from the sugar manufacturing process.
Pepsi Co., on the other hand, has introduced a new line of fountain sodas — called Stubborn Soda — with more exotic flavor pairings to attempt to appeal to the foodie set. A few of the combinations you'll see are black cherry tarragon, orange hibiscus, and pineapple cream.
