What challenge have you overcome in your kitchen? The house doesn't have any accessory rooms, or a garage, or even a backyard... so things like the toolbox, cat food, and ice cooler are stashed under the stairs that open to the kitchen. Also, we made an 8" wide cabinet next to the refrigerator, which is the perfect width for our broom closet and wine storage!

What is your favorite meal to cook here?
Risotto... either with 'Mushrooms & Almonds' from Marcella Cucina, or 'Curried Zucchini' from Bistro Cooking at home. The stirring routine allows me to ponder, catch up on the New Yorker, and drink wine.
