Not only was it ugly, but the cabinets were cheap and made very poor use of the limited space available, and the range abutting the wall meant we could only comfortably (and safely) use two of the four burners. What's the story of your kitchen?
In five words, this is our newly renovated, compact "green" kitchen. When planning the design, we aimed to make the best use of our limited space while also sticking to a budget and using green materials and appliances, including the Cambria quartz countertop, cork flooring, Urban Prairie environmentally-friendly cabinets, and energy star appliances. We're very happy with the results!
What is your favorite meal to cook here?
Our favorite is tuna pasta, made with garlic, parsley, capers, green beans and our favorite Sirena Italian-style tuna in oil from Australia. You can't buy it here, so we always stock up when we're back in Melbourne (Christine is from there), or when family and friends send us supplies!
