Chris Savoy's friends claim his new construction is the "ultimate party house" and I most definitely have to agree. The open floor plan and copious amounts of windows give the house a great vibe and you definitely can't forget about the pool. Another feature of the house that lends itself to being the ultimate party house is the modern kitchen.
Due to the fact that the house is so open you can pretty much access the kitchen from every angle. It's located right next to the living room and that makes it so easy to entertain and even cook while entertaining and no one feels left out! The island is absolutely enormous and I really love that feature. There's so much space to prep and there's ample seating for dinner parties. I think it's smart that the largest aspect of the kitchen was kept white to avoid anchoring the room.
The cabinets along the wall are a good compliment to the mostly white home. The wood breaks up the monotony of the sea of white and certainly provides ample interest. They're so sleek, simple and definitely sophisticated without being too high brow. At first glance you wouldn't imagine there would be much storage space because it's hard to see each separate cabinet, but if you look closely, this is storage heaven! No wonder Chris doesn't have much on the counters — because he's got enough space for everything to have its own home.
