I'm a sucker for a bit of rustic organization, especially in the kitchen, and these baskets hit the spot. Cheap, hard-wearing, and versatile, baskets are the perfect cheap organization solution.
I currently have three baskets on top of my kitchen cupboards to hold tools and appliances I need but don't use everyday, but you can also use them to hold root vegetables, pots and pans, and linens. (I particularly love the first photo above; such a pretty way to present oil, spices, herbs, and other cooking essentials.)
Do you have baskets in your kitchen?

I have a basket filled with cooking utensils. I love the first pic!
Yes, I use baskets to corral foods like potatoes and onions...
I really want to build a unit with wire baskets as drawers. Does anyone have a source for the baskets? Preferably at a reasonable price...
I like the cookie sheet inside the basket, In the first pic. I would hate baskets to be spoiled by an olive oil spill
Love that first picture too! Think it's time to add that to my kitchen. And it should be easy to get cheap baskets in charity shops!
