It's happened again - a friend is getting married in the fall and I enthusiastically volunteered to make all the food for their dessert reception. Then I discovered that the guest list numbers about 350! So this will be a big undertaking, and I plan to blog it all.
The friends are young and very capable of DIY - she is making her own dress from a sophisticated pattern she developed herself, and friends are pitching in on other aspects of the wedding too. It will be set on a lovely old estate in the rolling countryside of eastern Ohio. We'll post the menu sometime later this week - an autumn menu of desserts for a warm, smoky evening in the country.
