Le Creuset may have gone to the French seaside for the new Marseille, but Staub went to the country with Saffron, a dark golden hue, which calls to mind images of "marigolds, fall foliage, and spice," as their description puts it. While wandering through the Housewares show in Chicago this past weekend, one thing was inescapable: NEON COLOR. Subtle earth tones, it was nice knowing you, but you've officially been overwhelmed by your brighter, bolder relative. Le Creuset's newest color, Marseille Blue, launched a little over a month ago, but this weekend's Home + Housewares show in Chicago marked the first time we'd seen it in person. Inspired by the French coast, this rich, warm blue is lovely and crisp, and looks especially fresh when paired with stainless steel.
