Where would grilling be without an instant-read thermometer? Admit it - most of us aren't used to cooking meat over an open fire or hot coals, and our sense of timing is a little thrown off. It's always helpful to have a meat thermometer, whether you're cooking inside or out, but we find absolutely necessary when grilling.
