Q: I am supposed to purchase or make veggie trays for a reception of 185 people. Realistically, how much should I make? Sam's Club veggie trays are four pounds, which should feed 16 people. I just have no idea how many to buy?

With the extra money, we can either put in a range hood (there was no exterior duct work or hood when we bought the house) or put in new granite countertops, a sink, and a backsplash (we currently have ugly laminate and a bad sink).
Q: We bought a Cuisinart 14-cup food processor a few months ago. When using the slicing blade, any food we slice (carrots, courgettes, eggplant, etc.) ends up turning sideways after about three-quarters of the vegetable has been sliced.
