Yesterday ABC announced that it is canceling the long-running soap operas One Life to Live and All My Children to make room for a food-focused daytime talk show called The Chew. Hosted by a revolving cast of food personalities, including Mario Batali, Top Chef's Carla Hall and chef Michael Symon, The Chew sounds like a food-centric version of The View.

Last night's episode of Top Chef All-Stars was the second-to-last episode of what has been a marathon finale. The three remaining contestants faced off, cooking meals for some of the country's most prominent chefs, but only two are going on to next week's head-to-head competition. With a clever Quickfire, lots of twists, rancid fish, and Wolfgang Puck's charming diplomacy, last night's episode kept us guessing.
Were we the only ones who thought last night's episode of Top Chef All-Stars was going to be the season finale? In actuality, next week's will be the last of the season and judging from how cooking in the Bahamas has been going thus far, there is no clear favorite.
