Oooh, we'll have to try that jam! Last summer we made a wonderful apple lemon marmalade with cinnamon that reminded us of apple pie.
chess pie is a vinegar pie that is pretty ubiquitous in the South. My recipe:
1 stick butter melted with 1 T apple cider vinegar
3 eggs beat with 1 cup sugar and 1 t vanilla.
Pour into an unbaked pie crust and bake at 350 for 50 minutes.
Delish!
