Not unlike the traditional candystriper uniforms, these kitchens use the ol' red and white stripes to great effect. What started as a sweet-shoppe staple has been used to make these kitchens stylish, bold, and surprisingly up-to-date:

Eye-catching red and white stripes show up in all of these kitchens, but in a variety of places. Curtains, an interior awning (how cool is that?), storage containers, and upholstery. So, if you're looking to add a little candystripe style to your kitchen, take heed. You can do it through low-commitment and inexpensive accessories or more permanent fixtures of the kitchen.
