Q: Is there any way to re-cook underdone hard-boiled eggs? I cracked into a couple of eggs this morning from the same batch and realized that they were badly underdone — whites were not even set through. I have another half-dozen eggs from the same batch that I'd like to rescue if possible.
Would tossing them back into boiling water (24 hours+ later...) work? Or are these just done for?
